My research unfolds through interdisciplinary processes that explore contemporary society, its contradictions, and its ruins, seeking to activate participatory practices and the creation of new ecosystems.
ABOUT
Greg Jager (b. 1982) is a Rome-based visual artist whose practice transcends conventional boundaries. Through immersive installations, performances, abrasive soundscapes, visuals, and editorial projects, his work explores erosion as a metaphor for the interplay between decay and the emergence of new forms of coexistence. Jager investigates the role of otherness in shaping perception, drawing on subcultural influences and theoretical inquiry. Philosophy and anthropology inform his exploration of space, identity, and resistance, grounding his interdisciplinary practice in both critical thought and experiential engagement.
